Dudleyspinner Spins and Knits a Custom Shawl

 This year at Christmas I had my daughter Meghan choose some fiber for me to spin into yarn and knit into a shawl. This is some of my dudleyspinner fiber that I have dyed.  I do like the colors and how the pattern turned out. I had made another feather and fan shawl for Meg, but hard use and a fragile fabric has taken it's toll. The shawl needs repaired as it got caught on something and tore.

This fabric is quite tailored and has a very nice body and drape. It is heavier than many shawls. Meg wears these at SCA events, so many evenings are cool enough for a wrap. This is perfect for an pennanular brooch to close.
