I'd love to volunteer to be bailed out fiber-wise! GREAT idea! My reason? I'm married to a die hard Grateful Dead lover. I find myself now singing "sunshine...daydream" as I sit & spin. Seems like it's the perfect pace for me to turn out pretty yarn!

I'd love to try out your tie dyed fiber in our tie dye world!

I'd love to be bailed out - because I'm a newly-addicted spinner, I'm almost out of fiber, and I'll go crazy if I have to stop. Not to mention that your Gnu York is so pretty it's making me drool all over my keyboard...

I would love to be bailed out as I have no yarn or fiber stores within an hours drive of me. The government gets new jets and I have to pay more for gas to get my fiber. What kind of world are we living in??!!!

I would love to be bailed out because my wheel is turning and I can't slow down.

Because I live in Gnu York!!!! Love the red. I would love to spin it and knit a pair of red mittens. The average annual snowfall is approximately 130 inches per winter in Upstate New York, and my hands get mighty cold!!! So there's nothing better than a pair of hand-knit mittens from homespun!

I should be bailed out because frankly life recently has been dark and hideous and I continue to be reminded that life is shorter than I think.

I'm a disabled mom with an Immune Deficiency syndrome similar to that of Bubble Boy and my hobbies keep me sane. Life is too short to spin with bad fiber and so far that's all I've ever got to experience due to financial issues especially.

I LOVE the red of Gnu York too and think it would be the perfect fiber to enjoy this fall when I watch our red maple change colors!

Thanks for running the contest :) Its nice to be able to look forward to something exciting even if I don't win. I love contests!

Hi!

I need to be bailed out because I have agreed to teach three women in my apartment building to spin! I don't know them at all, and I'm a new spinner too, they're 30 years older than me, all in all, I'm very nervous about it. I want to be able to show them some really great wool, to hopefully give them some inspiration to get their own wheels or spindles and stick to it, and not just the undyed tops I'll use to show them!

So - I need to be bailed out!

I need to be bailed out because my boyfriend severely limits my spinning fiber stash acquisition.

I am only allowed to have 2-4 braids of fiber at a time. That is it. When I spin fiber into yarn I am then required to knit at least 1 handspun project a month.

This is all because my boyfriend hates clutter and my "pack rat" tendencies.

So I kindly oblige him for now. Mostly because I really cannot afford a lot of fiber currently. But when I have more money...I plan to sneak the fiber in... ;)

My fiber stash fits in one rubbermaid bin. My yarn stash fits in another. I'm not allowed any more yarn or fiber than that, and the bins are not full. I love teaching spinning, and that comes out of my stash, of course. I've been on a fiber diet since January, so I can put money towards that *bleep* credit card debt, at least half of which is vet bills. I have a nasty habit of adopting senior pets and then am surprised when they have medical issues. I didn't go to the Sock Summit because my husband needs new teeth- for the cost of his new plate, I could have taken a friend to the summit.

Hi there, Dudleyspinner!

I need a bailout because I am a poor college student in Louisiana. In this backwards swamp of a state, the state government has decided to take millions out of the education funding, and thus, the students are suffering most. Scholarships are squeezed, student benefits are shortening, and my fiber budget is GONE. Please, please make my year by giving me 4 oz of joy in these dark times!

Because you love me? lol

I need a bailout because I love the fiber! I have been skipping lunches for the past couple of weeks to pay for my current fiber crushes! I am hungry! :-)

I need to be bailed out bc I loves your fiber and want to roll around in it. That would be life without soap, you know? Pretty stinky.

Why do I need to be bailed out? Because my husband I are saving to buy a house. So I'm on a fiber diet. A fiber fast, really. I'm only allowed the fibers and yarns that I win or that are gifted to me. I was gifted a spinning wheel for my birthday last month. I NEED MORE FIBER!
Won't you help bail me out?

*sigh* I need a bailout because we just hit 4 months of my husband being unemployed, he's put in 2-3 apps a week, and nobody has even called him back. I've even come out of SAHM mode and been putting in a few apps, and again, nobody has even called back.

Some bright red fiber would sure go a long way to make me feel less depressed about the future...
